Design of structural steel components using the Load and Resistance Factor Design method. Intensive treatment of simple and eccentric connections, composite construction, plate girders, and plastic analysis and design.

CVEG 2020: Civil Engineering Mechanics II

CVEG 202 provides the student with a foundation in the theory and principles of mechanics of materials for use in subsequent civil engineering courses. This course applies mathematics and physics to solve problems in mechanics.
